A few years back I wrote a review about the book, “Changing the Game” by John O’Sullivan. As a pediatrician and athlete, I believe we set our children up for success in sports and in life if the goal is fun. There is a lot of hard work involved. At times our love of sport involves sacrifice, failure and often pain. For a child playing for themselves and not their parents approval, this is done freely.
